Already an old man, Anton Gaudí was recalling his passing along the School of Architecture of Barcelona, where his initial inconformity led him to being an evil pupil: "While the professor was reciting the lessons, in initial inconformity I was raising the problems of plastic arts and of statics that some years later I would resolve; this was making me be an evil pupil, because these ponderings were forbidding me to follow the speeches of the professors, and suspense were abundant. On the other hand, I was devouring the Library of the School."
