During the epoch of the construction of the Vicens House (1883-88), Anton Gaudí spent some seasons in the house that his client and friend Manuel Vicens had in the village of Alella (el Maresme), in Dalt Street (today Anselm Clavé).
There he left a fireplace in the corner of the living room and an angular cupboard.
The fireplace is made of wood and metal. The metal sheet includes two compositions, both with the initials "M. V.", for Manel Vicens.
This small fireplace is now in the Gaudí House Museum in Park Güell.
