Dr. Ignasi Segarra

On May 23, have served eight years of the transfer of Fr. Ignasi Segarra, founder of the Association for the Beatification of Antoni Gaudí. For this reason, it has held a Mass in the basilica of the Sagrada Família, for the repose of his soul and beseeching his help in the smooth running of the process of beatification of Gaudi. Fr. Ignasi Segarra was a remarkable popular preacher and in 1992 celebrated Easter crafts in Riudoms, the village of Camp de Tarragona where the Mas de la Calderera, the small farm where Antoni Gaudí spent long periods of his childhood. On Good Friday, during the Sermon on the Seven Words, was the idea of starting the process of beatification of the great architect. This is how the Associació pro Beatificació d'Antoni Gaudí was founded, that has been giving all the footsteps of the Canon Law. Currently, the process of beatification of Antoni Gaudí is still in the Vatican in the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
